Guardian: Original Pool Fences
The gate
is the most important part of any fence system! Guardian had to know
their gate would close each time. The double-pole truss on both sides of
the gate allows for tension fluctuations without the need for
adjustments. The fabric tension is not a factor in the operation of the
gate. The gate was also designed
without a top cross-bar, making
it very difficult for toddlers to climb because there's nothing rigid to
hold on to!
Guardian
Pool Fence Systems, Inc. is the only manufacturer of removable-mesh
fencing to have the ORIGINAL,
PATENTED, self-closing
gate specifically designed and engineered to operate with a removable
mesh fencing system.
Because
this type of fence operates on tension, the mesh fabric is tighter in
colder weather and loses some tension in warmer weather. Engineers
have told us that a conventional, single pole designed gate would
require constant adjustment.
Removing a single pole gate for a party and then having to reinstall the
gate compounds the problem of a potential gate failure. Guardian Pool
Fence Systems, Inc. has PATENTED a Gate
System that does not depend on the tension of the fence around it!
Specifications

This shows the difference in hole
sizes between the Original and Premier pool fence lines. Both are
offered to give customers a choice.
Customers can put together any the
pole colors with mesh colors and any color border with their fences
The newest 4.5' model fence is tall
enough without being too overpowering of the pool area. Many feel it
is the best looking and is becoming very popular.
A 48" height is the MINIMUM height
recommended by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. These
fences are also available in 54" and 60".
Special gate installations are
possible. Both sides of the gate must be in the same piece of
concrete. A concrete slab was added here to accommodate customers.
This fence follows the outer edge of
the deck, allowing the entire deck area for pool use only. Designing
the fence in such a way gives a custom made look and feel.
Peg Leg Step Installation shows
one of two ways the Guardian Fence negotiates a set of stairs. This
method is used when dealing with large overhangs on the step pad or
steps with a bull nose edge.

Conventional Step Installation
is used when there is no overhang on the step pad.
